Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the evaluation and monitoring of financial risks across various portfolios.
  • Analyze financial statements, market trends, and risk metrics to provide actionable insights.
  • Support the development and implementation of risk management strategies and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation of risk models and stress testing scenarios.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Maintain and update risk management databases and documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, risk management, or a similar role (internships included).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial risk management software or systems.
  • Basic knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Certification or coursework in risk management (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
