Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading global broadcast production company focused on providing Managed Services to major broadcast networks, corporations, and studios. It is also a top producer of Live Multi-Camera news, sports, entertainment, and corporate productions. BMG has operations in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Las Vegas.


BMG is searching for an experienced Account Executive – selling Managed Services.

The Account Executive, Managed Services requires consulting on complex technical production solutions, building and facilitating executive-level relationships across various verticals, staying abreast of customer and industry technology trends, and collaboratively uncovering new sales opportunities. Primary target clients are large corporations, broadcasters, and government agencies.


Broadcast Management Group is an industry-recognized broadcast video production managed services company. We have created an industry leading complete cloud production ecosystem and provide long-term production staffing, state-of-the-art video production facilities, operations management, consulting, engineering design/build, master control, content/media asset management, storage, and disaster recovery services. The company is headquartered in Washington D.C. and provides advanced technology solutions in the areas of video production, transmission and distribution infrastructure. 

 

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Drive topline revenue
    • Identify new accounts and introduce/evangelize BMG’s unique value proposition to key decision makers and stakeholders
    • Accurately forecast and manage a sales pipeline
    • Develop and utilize professional account management tools and follow-up procedures
    • Represent a high-growth and respected company with great success stories within the broadcast television, corporate, federal, and local government markets
    • Manage complex sales within a production consulting environment by clearly defining best business solutions
    • Foster strong communication, business, and technical acumen paired with solid partnerships while  consistently exceeding sales quotas
    • Utilizing our readily accessible team of resources to help you prospect, engineer solutions, and manage deal flow
    • Ability to lead and directly contribute to core value propositions to achieve client objectives
  • Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short and long-term business development plans

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business/Finance/Economics/Engineering
    • 3+ years of experience with demonstrated ability to sell within IT hierarchy and complex business solutions
    • 3+ years demonstrated high performance managed services sales success, (with a focus on driving and closing net new business)
    • 3+ years of computer hardware networking experience preferred (Collaboration, Data Center, Networking, Cloud and Managed Services)
    • High-level understanding of technology or interest and aptitude for learning technology
    • Knowledgeable and have run all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying rigorous sales processes and technical expertise
    • Create technical solutions which address complex business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs
    • Ability to demonstrate business forecasting: weekly, monthly and annually
    • Collaborating with internal engineering teams along with established partners
    • Self-starter with disciplined sales focus
