We are currently looking to add our team with an exciting opportunity as Customer Service/Account Manager at **Schroepfer Insurance**, an Acrisure Agency Partner. This position will be responsible for service, policy changes, and ensuring that the database and documentation are properly maintained.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Enter new client accounts in agency management system, including prospects.
* Check policy for accuracy (comparing it to the proposal and agency management system) and handle corrections according to agency guidelines
* Correspond with insured or agent to obtain information or inform them account status or changes
* Receive, review and document all client and underwriter correspondence (phone, email, mail, fax, etc.) in agency management system, change requests and endorsement processing, review follow up list on a weekly basis and take appropriate action, manage the cancellation process, and (potential) missed expiration report according to agency guidelines
* Process, prepare, and submit business or government forms, such as submitting applications for coverage to insurance carriers. May market renewals with oversight and delegation from Account Manager or Operations Manager

**Education and/or Experience** **:**
* High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required
* Active Life & Health insurance license or obtain in 90 days insurance license, required OR preferred
**Technology Skills:**
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
**Other Qualifications:**
* Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
* Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior and effort to achieve goals and objectives
* Self-motivated and driven
* Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy
* The ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
* Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
