Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Accounts Payable (AP) LeadJob Description:Our client is seeking a qualified AP Lead to lead an established team within a well-established accounting department. This position offers a hybrid work situation, balancing remote and on-site work. The primary responsibilities include leading the team and focusing on processing, coding, and researching invoices to ensure timely handling and utilization of prompt pay discounts. Additionally, the role involves setting up new vendors and ensuring the accuracy of ACH/Wire Transfer details.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the accounts payable team.
  • Process, code, and research invoices for timely payment.
  • Take advantage of prompt pay discounts.
  • Set up new vendors and verify ACH/Wire Transfer details.
  • Work heavily within the ERP system to confirm payment details with vendors.
  • Oversee and manage the distribution of incoming mail.
  • Handle vendor reconciliation.
  • Ensure the accurate entry and processing of ACH/Wire Transfers.
  • Supervise the team, delegating tasks and assignments as necessary.
  • Overnight necessary paperwork.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday
    • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
    • 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly pay range: $20 - $24

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of recent high-volume accounts payable experience.
  • Experience in vendor reconciliation.
  • Proficiency with ACH/Wire Transfer processes.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Strong task delegation and assignment skills.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems.
