This role may be performed fully remote with anticipated travel of up to 30% dependent upon needs/customer activities.

WHAT WE NEED

The primary role of the Director Industrial Sales is to ensure the overall success and growth of the Baldwin Richardson Foods (BRF) Industrial channel. This role is accountable for owning the Industrial channel strategy for growth, leadership of the sales team, and senior level relationships with customers. The Director of Industrial Sales will be a “BRF Ambassador” who engages proactively both internally and externally to bring BRF to the next level.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and execute annual channel sales plan in alignment with corporate goals focused on meeting and exceeding the needs of the industrial customers. Plans should include sales analysis, problem solving, account planning and market analysis to determine channel needs.
  • Ensure joint business plans with each customer are established to drive profitable growth aligned with BRF’s annual volume and revenue targets.
  • Direct management and responsibility for achieving profitable growth with top two industrial channel customers.
  • Manage and develop sales team members in alignment with BRF’s CARE values.
  • Work collaboratively with forecasting team to cross-functionally support the S&OP initiatives and provide projection and revisions where necessary.
  • Manage employee performance by clearly defining job responsibilities and standards of performance; tracking progress against goals; providing clear, thorough, timely feedback; and addressing performance problems and issues promptly.
  • Ensure self and staff keep up to date on technical knowledge and developments that impact roles. Uses this information to drive improvements and/or prepare for changing requirements.
  • Create and foster professional development paths for team members.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCESSFUL

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field
  • A minimum of ten (10+) years of sales experience in the industrial channel, specifically to CPG customers.
  • Proven people leadership and development success, including management of performance concerns, hiring processes, and offboarding.
  • Strong background in pricing management and negotiation.
  • Successful experience building out a structure, growth strategy, and effective execution teams.
  • Experience in building and executing annual plans.
  • Demonstrated cross functional team building and leadership skills.

At BRF, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $185,000 and $200,000. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role will also offer a car allowance of $600 per month.
