Your profile
Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing & Growth as an experienced professional on a career path, you’re an ace with channel marketing in B2B SaaS. You bring direct experience in translating ICPs into real world strategies and programs that drive measurable results. You are also skilled at managing multiple channels with different needs, dynamics, and cadences.
What success looks like
This role is key to our growth initiatives and will be measured on your ability to contribute quality, top of funnel (TOF) prospects into the sales pipeline from a variety of channels. You own your number and will work cross functionally to ensure brand and messaging are in lock-step with direct channel marketing efforts.
Some of your responsibilities will include
- Evaluating and improving existing channel marketing strategies.
- Developing and testing new channel marketing strategies.
- Providing sales enablement training for channel campaigns.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the SourceDay platform, competitor products, and industry trends.
- Working closely with the partner and customer success teams to align on strategies, programs, events, and communications approaches.
- Promoting SourceDay to assigned channels through tactics such as email, website content, webinars, co-authored assets, in-person events, and SEO strategies.
- Analyzing market data, trends, consumer preferences, and competitor behavior to optimize channel marketing strategies.
- Ensuring campaigns are appropriately tagged for attribution, analysis, and performance reporting.
- Deploying channel marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team, senior managers, and other departments.
- Working closely and owning co-marketing activities with large/complex partners (webinars, events, white-papers, etc)
- Owning creating email/communication sequences for partner distribution to end-users.
- Understanding and reporting on SourceDay’s channel funnel metrics/conversions/analytics
What you bring to the table
- Bachelors’ degree in marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B SaaS channel marketing; supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years working with ICP- and persona-driven pipeline development.
- In-depth knowledge of current channel marketing strategies including associations, partners, and leveraging end-users as a channel.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to distill complex information into easy to understand content.
- Tech savvy; you know your way around a variety of systems including Salesforce, Marketo, and Outreach, or similar tools.
- Naturally curious, you like solving problems and learning new things.
- Strong communicator with great interpersonal skills.
- Ability to liaise with multiple levels within partner companies and associations.
- A good ‘juggler’; the ability to consistently deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
