The BAS System Specialist is responsible for performing start-up and commissioning of Building Automation Systems

and related equipment in new construction and renovation projects, and existing customer facilities. They will

support the verification of system databases and programming, ensuring consistency with the scope of work and

engineered sequence of operations. The Support Specialist will implement and configure building infrastructure

network to facilitate the integration of smart building technologies.

  • Complete Point to Point verification of Building Automation Systems as designed
  • Performs the verification of the system database and programming, ensuring consistency with the scope of work and engineered sequence of operations
  • Configures building infrastructure networks to facilitate the integration of smart building technologies.
  • Supports troubleshooting and resolution of inconsistencies in the functions or sequence of operations
  • Performs the set-up and configuration of network devices, workstations and user interfaces
  • Commissions proper network performance
  • Performs operational testing, verification, and acceptance providing reports to review system operation
  • Complete and submit written reports, and provide field modifications and control system documents to engineering for as-built drawings
Requirements:

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Associates Degree in HVAC, electronics, or equivalent experience, preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES

  • Certification in a Building Automation System is preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Electronics, Mechanical Systems, Facilities Management, Networking, or IT.
  • Experience in the construction environment preferred
