POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Channel is responsible for developing and managing relationships with channel partners such as IT Strategists, Agents, Technology Advisors to drive sales and increase Sourcepass market reach.

This roles involves working closely with existing channel partners and recruiting new partners to drive growth and revenue. In this role the candidate is expected to have strong existing relationships with agents/partners that they can leverage to be successful. In addition, the candidate must have experience selling in IT/SAAS/Networking industry.

In this role the candidate will be measured on grow pipeline and bookings by supporting deal process.

The role of a Senior Director of Channel requires strong sales, relationship-building, and communication skills. They must be strategic thinkers who can identify market opportunities, negotiate partnerships, and drive sales growth through effective channel management. The salary for this position is $125,000 plus commission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit new partners for Sourcepass and continue to engage with existing partners and your contacts in the industry.
  • Set Performance goals and conduct regular business reviews with channel partners to assess performance, resolve issues, and identify growth opportunities
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
  • Conduct partner business reviews
  • Assist resellers/partners and liaise with sales in closing opportunities through joint sales calls, assistance with quotations, and any ICB pricing
  • Conduct product and sales training sessions for channel partners to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the Sourcepass's offerings
  • Create and distribute sales and marketing collateral to channel partners, including product brochures, presentations, and sales tools
  • Attend industry conferences and drive ROI from participation. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and identify potential channel partnership opportunities
  • Generate regular reports on sales, market trends, and channel partner activities for management review
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of channel activities

DESIRED SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent professional relationships within the channel community with at least 5+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Proven sales experience in SaaS software, MSP, IT or Networking industries
  • Proven experience in hitting or exceeding quota
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones
