Revenue Cycle Director

ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THIS REVENUE CYCLE DIRECTOR JOB?

As a pivotal leader in this role, you are the primary liaison between the billing office, practice managers, and administration, working collaboratively to identify process improvements in our business office operations. Your keen eye for opportunities to maximize revenue potential drives our success. Leading a dedicated team of RCM professionals, you ensure the accurate posting of payments, efficient billing, and effective collections from both patients and insurance companies. Your role involves conducting audits to uncover areas for improvement, recruiting and onboarding new team members, and providing ongoing guidance through performance reviews, counseling, and mentoring.

With a focus on motivation and quality, you inspire our team to achieve their best performances. Coordinating time off requests ensures a seamless workflow, while your professional approach to answering questions from team members, providers, patients, and others fosters a positive working environment. Your adaptability to changing coding guidelines and payer requirements is crucial in maintaining our high standards of correctness and efficiency. WHAT MATTERS MOST

The knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• 3+ years of medical billing experience
• 3+ years of experience with revenue cycle management
• Knowledge of all aspects of insurance follow-up
• Awareness of all timely filing restrictions, CCI edits, and the appeals process
• Knowledge of clients' terminology and the healthcare industry
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to reliably commute or a plan to relocate before starting work
