We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Equipment Specialist, offering opportunities for applicants with varying levels of education and experience. This position involves comprehensive management of laboratory equipment, encompassing procurement, maintenance, and inventory coordination. Collaborating closely with the team, the Equipment Specialist ensures the availability and functionality of essential equipment for seamless operations. This role is heavily focused on quality and compliance in a research setting. Key responsibilities include overseeing maintenance activities, liaising with vendors, maintaining records, and participating in equipment qualification processes. Someone focused on Metrology would be ideal.

While a high school diploma or equivalent is required, candidates with a bachelor’s degree in business management or related fields, coupled with 1-5 years of equipment management experience, are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exceptional communication skills are vital. Behavioral expectations encompass effective time management, problem-solving, and resourcefulness. The role also includes special requirements such as exposure to pathogens and chemicals, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment, and occasional lifting and carrying up to 50lbs. Additionally, the ability to work extended hours may be required.
