Medkoder is looking for a Marketing and Sales Support Specialist to join our team in our Mandeville, LA office. This entry-level position includes participation in calls and meetings focusing on Public Relations, Social Media, Business Development, and Sales Operations.
The Marketing and Sales Support Specialist will have exposure to both marketing and sales of Medkoder's Business Development Department. This role will support the department in a variety of ongoing activities and projects including but not limited to:
- Close collaboration with our Medkoder Business Development Team by assisting with all facets of account and marketing activities.
- Support our sales team with the development of our client database which includes identifying potential clients and qualifying new leads.
- Lead generation.
- Aids in organizing and executing trade show promotional events, along with any other event coordination that is necessary to promote Medkoder business.
- Prospecting new accounts/trade shows.
- Content creation: Develop and carry out a plan that aligns with business objectives and target audience needs to supply regular and consistent content that encourages interaction, feedback, and sharing to build community and loyalty.
- Social Media, mailing list management & brand awareness oversight and execution.
- Helping to maintain reports for analytics on website traffic, social media traffic, and programs.
- Customized presentation development.
- Intentional internal relations.
- Researching key industry trends.
- Continued development of competitive trends in the marketplace.
Qualifications
- A recent college graduate with a degree in Communications, Marketing, English/Creative Writing, or other related field.
- Proficiency with social media and content creation
- High-energy, multi-tasker who is not afraid to take charge of a project
- Experience with the full Microsoft Office suite of products
- The ability to write well including email correspondence, blogs, website content, and articles
- A team player. This position will touch several departments including sales, operations, product development, services & support, and administration.
