Pattillo, Brown & Hill, L.L.P. is currently seeking a Tax Senior to join our team in our Albuquerque, New Mexico firm We are searching for a new team member who possesses a client forward mindset and positive attitude.

SUCCESSFUL CHARACTERISTICS:
-Knowledge and understanding of the firm's policies and procedures.
-Strong analytical and managerial skills, positive attitude, and the ability to multitask.
-Preparation and review of 1120, 1120s, 1065, 1040 income tax returns.
-Preparation and review of 990 Non-Profit Tax Returns.
-Knowledge of monthly payroll, bookkeeping and associated quarterly 941s knowledge.
-Knowledge of Year End W-2, 1099s and related reporting knowledge.
-Ability to oversee monthly financial reporting including bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance in QuickBooks.
-Knowledge of payroll processing and reporting and sales tax reporting.
-Ability to train and instruct staff if needed.
-Ability to engage with tax agencies and clients in a professional manner.
-Possess a working knowledge of firm technology, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and firm software.
-Perform other duties as assigned by partners.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
-Three years of tax experience
-CPA eligible
-Experience with current computer accounting programs
-Detail and deadline oriented
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

REQUIRED EDUCAITON, RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
-College undergraduate degree in a related field.
-3+ years of public accounting experience.
-Accurately and efficiently prepare income tax returns for a diverse range of clients.
-Extreme attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of tax regulations.
-Team collaboration on various projects and initiatives.
-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment will be key in fostering a positive and productive team dynamic.
-Tax expertise with a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, including a focus on income tax preparation and review.
-Effective communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
