Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our client’s finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing tax filings, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing strategic tax planning advice. This role requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research on tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
  • Advise clients and the company on tax strategies and planning.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions.
  • Assist with tax audits and respond to tax authorities regarding tax notices.
  • Review financial statements and ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Identify and mitigate tax risks.
  • Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records and tax reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and relevant laws.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
