We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Analyst to join our team. The Cost Analyst will play a vital role in analyzing, managing, and optimizing the costs associated with our supply chain operations. This position requires strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of cost structures, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiencies.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and monitor costs across the supply chain to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction
  • Develop and maintain cost models to forecast future expenses and support budgeting processes
  • Evaluate supplier quotes and pricing to ensure alignment with budgetary goals and cost targets
  • Collaborate with procurement, production, and finance teams to track and report on cost-saving initiatives
  • Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management and stakeholders
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making on supplier selection, contract negotiations, and production processes
  • Review and validate invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with agreed-upon terms
  • Assist in the development of pricing strategies and the establishment of cost control procedures
  • Support the implementation of cost accounting systems and processes
  • Identify and analyze potential risks and their impact on cost structures
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance cost efficiency and overall profitability


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven 3-4 years of experience in financial analysis, cost analyst, contract management, and inventory control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in inventory management
  • Relevant certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) are advantageous
