The Customer Service Associate will be responsible for receiving and processing material orders directly from customers via telephone, mail, fax, etc. in a timely and accurate manner. Requires data entry into company designed computer system and communication with internal resources regarding needs of client.
Customer Service Associate Job Summary:
• 1st shift
• Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
• $25.00/hr to start
• Temp to HIRE
Customer Service Associate Duties:
• Receive order date from sales representative
• Receive and enter order data into computer system
• Inform customers of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and and additional information needed by customer
• Print shipment documents for processing by warehouse
• Receive and resolve customer complaints
• Track returned merchandise reason codes and adjust to improve service quality
• Consult with production, warehouse, and drivers to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments
• Compile quality measures and prepare various reports
• Closely follow all established policies, guidelines, and pricing for customer accounts and service
Customer Service Associate Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience in an office environment
• Highly effective analytical skills, ability to quicky identify and understand problems and select appropriate resolutions
• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Fluency in English is required, verbal and written
• Excellent speed and accuracy in data entry skills
• Ability to create and edit documents in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
• Available to work the last day of each month to process closing of month end (could fall on a weekend)
