About the Position:

Doyle Auctioneers & Appraisers is seeking an Event Manager. The Event Manager is responsible for assisting the Marketing Department with event planning and project management. Full-time, in-house position. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Event planning and project management including creation of timelines, invitation process, thorough and regular communications to attendees, suppliers and stakeholders
  • Craft innovative programming and impactful events to enhance engagement and brand experience; identify opportunities and refining processes to scale similar initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to understand event objectives and requirements
  • Work with creative team to prioritize and create event marketing efforts including invitations and multi-media promotional materials
  • Coordinate registration, transportation, hotel accommodations, gift selection, audio/visual needs, webcasts, staging and speaker selection for all programs
  • Assign project roles based on the needs of the event or project
  • Work with the onsite team to manage day-of logistics, including rental deliveries, audio/visual system setup, and catering arrangements
  • Post-event follow-up and analysis
  • Develop and implement event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • College degree in a related field
  • Prior experience managing and designing a variety of events, conferences and meetings including but not limited to exhibitions, executive events, cocktail receptions and dinners, seminars, round tables, networking events, panels and book signings
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events across multiple regions simultaneously
  • Motivated, self-starter, ability to work independently and project plan; ability to think innovatively
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a proven ability to work well under pressure to meet established deadlines
  • Resourceful individual with the ability to take direction and work independently; be proactive with ideas and creative solutions
  • An individual known to exhibit enthusiasm, integrity, and willingness to help whenever necessary
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
  • Experience in B2B Marketing events and/or trade show management a plus
  • Experience with contact management and lifecycle marketing a plus
