  • Job Title: RCM Charge Specialist
  • Location: R.emote - Opportunities in Oregon and Washington
  • Typical Schedule: Mondays – Fridays, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience specifically in medical billing or coding strongly preferred
  • CPC preferred at hire or CPC-A, required after 1 year of employment within the Charge Department
  • HS Diploma, GED; or 1-3 years related healthcare experience and/or medical billing training
  • Our coding billers must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; must have strong understanding of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, EOB’s, be familiar with auditing charges for accuracy, changes or modifiers needed, billing to insurance, and multitasking from multiple electronic clinical programs and websites
  • Experience in ModMed PM preferred
  • Our coding billers must have exceptional customer service skills, excellent data entry skills, and be very detail oriented. See our mission below
