Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Support drafting resources and personnel, providing technical expertise and guidance.
  • Assist in leading multiple team members, promoting collaboration and effective communication.
  • Develop detailed design and production of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform material and product research, selecting suitable options for projects.
  • Assist with conceptual input on assigned projects, providing innovative solutions and ideas.
  • Support efforts for monitoring scope, schedule, and budget on architectural aspects of projects.
  • Develop architectural work plans and tasking, supervising and mentoring assigned project personnel.
  • Support construction phase shop drawing review and assembly of requests for proposals, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Learn and apply future use of CADD, REVIT, and/or other programs.
  • Support the firm's QA/QC program, serving as an architectural discipline checker for assigned projects.
  • Perform other related work as apparent or assigned.
Additional Project Opportunities:
  • Studies - Feasibility, Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination, and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis.
  • Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
  • Minimum of 8 years related work experience.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
    • Professional Engineer's license in MA, CT, NY, or another US jurisdiction.
    • 8+ years in electrical design, planning, and construction services.
    • EV charging experience.
    • Overall familiarity with and experience designing to NFPA-70: National Electrical Code (NEC).
    • Experience with low and medium voltage power distribution design and equipment.
    • Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software.
