Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Information Technology Security Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a high-paced environment where your expertise in IT and cybersecurity will be vital in resolving high-priority issues. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in IT, with 1-2 years specifically dealing with network security or cybersecurity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts to protect the organization's systems and data.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of security measures to safeguard information and network systems.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and analyze potential threats to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network configurations and respond to security breaches or incidents.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of security documentation, including incident reports and security policies.
  • Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives to ensure the organization meets regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in network security or cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with security monitoring tools and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-priority issues with urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
