Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Security Engineer to join our team. Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network access control (NAC) systems.
  • Monitor network traffic for security breaches and unauthorized access attempts, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices and technologies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex network security issues and challenges.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies to proactively mitigate risks and enhance network security posture.
  • Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst, or similar role with a focus on network security.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network architecture.
  • Experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point), VPN solutions, IDS/IPS systems, and NAC technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, endpoint protection, and penetration testing tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and security frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex network security issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
