Overview:
The Assistant Financial Controller works with the Controller to ensure that strategies and controls are in place to keep the practice in good fiscal health. Assistant Controller will conduct internal audits to maintain compliance with legal and ethical business practices. Works to execute plans for future growth and evaluating financial risk. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, managing financial transactions and participate in budget process.
Primary responsibility will be to assist the Controller in the oversight and activities of the financial department. Ensuring Accounts Receivable and Payables are operating in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with corporate compliances.
Under the direction of the Controller the Assistant Controller will reconcile and prepare financial statements, budgets, business activity reports, forecasts and reports required by regulatory agencies.
Effectively communicate with staff, participate and contribute to meetings.
Required:
Bachelor's Degree req. in Accounting or Finance
5-7 Years Accounting Experience
Not for Profit Accounting Experience preferred.
