We are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Accounting Team. This role will be based out of our Headquarters in Branchburg NJ.
Responsibilities
- New Hire Setups
- Employee changes/ updates
- Garnishments
- Union remittance reporting for multistate unions
- Weekly/Monthly division reporting
- Payroll processing and reviewing
- Printing and distributing of weekly payroll checks
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction payroll
- Multistate Payroll and Union knowledge preferred
- Experience with using Timberline/HCSS software preferred
- Experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll
- Knowledge of wage labor laws and union labor compliance is a plus
- Strong, detailed oriented work ethic a must
- Self-starter with a well-honed sense of urgency and the ability to regularly meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Computer skills are required, must be proficient on Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be a High School graduate, some College preferred but not required
