• serve as a geospatial technology and mobile SME.
• research, identify, bulk process and manage unique geospatial map and imagery content based on Organization requirements.
• develop code, algorithms, models, and scripts to automate data processing workflows using PowerShell, Python, Autolt, Windows batch, and Linux shell.
• support technical meetings with vendors to communicate program and mission requirements and provide technical advice and direction based on practical knowledge of mobile, phone hardware, mobile operating systems (Android/iOS), software (commercial, FOSS, and GOTS), and security mechanisms.
• interact with the Organization's Enterprise teams to integrate Organization's geospatial mission data within a common, enterprise web application, to include system administration, database administration, file, and access management functions using Amazon EC2, S3, and related services.


REQUIRED SKILLS

The Candidate shall have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience:

• strong knowledge of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) applications and services.
• oversight of IT development teams.
• providing technical support and training to a broad client base.
• understanding emerging technical trends.
• systems engineering.
• systems integration.
• supporting technical operations.
• PowerShell, Python, AutoIT, Windows batch, or Linux shell to develop code, algorithms, models or scripts.
• automating data processing workflows.
• practical knowledge of mobile phone hardware, mobile operating systems (Android/iOS), software (commercial, FOSS, and GOTS), and security mechanisms.
• system administration, database administration, file, and access management functions using Amazon EC2, S3, or similar services.


HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS
Skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not required to perform the work include:

• strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• creating test plans and documenting process and procedures.
• tool idea conceptualization and requirements design.
• working with Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms.
• Advanced degree in Geographic/Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) or similar.
