As the Senior Director of Network Operations at Augmentjobs, you will oversee the management, maintenance, and optimization of the company's network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of network operations to support our business objectives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement network strategies and policies that align with organizational goals.

    • Provide leadership and direction to the network operations team to ensure effective and efficient network management.

    • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into network operations.

  • Network Management:

  • Incident and Problem Management:

    • Oversee the resolution of network incidents and problems, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.

    • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

  • Project Management:

    • Lead network-related projects from conception through execution, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 6 to 10 years of experience in network operations or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

    • Proven experience in managing large-scale network infrastructure and leading network operations teams.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Extensive knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and best practices (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SD-WAN).

    • Experience with network security technologies and practices (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption).

    • Proficiency in network management tools and software.

  • Leadership and Management Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

    • Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Certifications:

    • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar certifications are preferred.
