What will the Sales Engineer do?

As our Sales Engineer, Northeast, you will have the exciting opportunity to build lasting relationships with our customer base. Pairing with the opportunity to shine as an individual who understands the ins and outs of our machines.

You will proactively analyze business opportunities and offer strategic insights, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role not only involves maintaining and servicing existing accounts but also expanding our footprint by cultivating new relationships within your assigned US territory.

You have the advantage of crafting your own daily strategic plan and schedule, essential for developing technical sales presentations that resonate with current industry trends. You will play a pivotal role in seamlessly submitting orders through effective teamwork and ensuring management stays informed with detailed activity and results reports.

  • Monitor competition.
  • Gather current marketplace information on product pricing, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Assist engineering in defining new products.
  • Recommend changes in products, services, and policies.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems & developing solutions.
  • Assist sales management with product planning, sales forecasting, and sales marketing initiatives.

What makes you qualified for this role?

You would need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM.
  • 3+ years of sales experience. (industry specific is a plus)
  • Understanding of basic electricity and associated terminology.
  • Strong presentation, analytical and project process/management skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure.
  • Understand when extra hours are needed on assignments.
