Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the BI team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development.
- Develop and execute the BI strategy to align with the organization's business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of advanced BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with senior executives and business units to identify key data needs, define project requirements, and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of BI tools and reports, providing actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and enforce best practices for data management, data governance, and data quality to ensure the effectiveness and security of BI solutions.
- Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights, and make recommendations for business improvement.
- Manage the performance and optimization of BI tools and systems, addressing any issues and implementing enhancements as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Oversee BI-related budgets and resources, managing vendor relationships and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with at least 4-6 years in a senior management role.
- Advanced proficiency in BI tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and data visualization techniques.
- Extensive experience with data management, data warehousing, and data governance best practices.
- Proven track record of leading and managing complex BI projects and teams, delivering impactful insights and solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting complex data concepts to senior executives and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience with managing budgets and resources related to BI initiatives effectively.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
