A specialized industrial automation manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Plant Controller for their Springfield, MO location. Our client is over 100 years old, ~$5Billion in global revenues, and has manufacturing locations all over the world. The Plant Controller will be responsible for the financial plans and activities of ~$150M in revenues and 2 manufacturing locations. Additionally, this person will help assist the financial activities of a new plant set to be operational in 2026. This role is responsible for the operational financial performance of the sites. This is a highly visible role that carries a high profile within the organization and the right person could be promoted quickly.


Essential Responsibilities:
Oversees and directs all financial reporting for two manufacturing site locations.
Directs all financial plant operations
Leads budget and forecasting process for the sites across Sales, Plant Costing, Working Capital, Inventory and SG&A
Key decision maker on product pricing, marketing actions, and customer platform profitability
Oversees Internal and External Audits

Requirements

Desired Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience, Bachelor's Degree Required, MBA preferred
  • CPA/CMA preferred
  • SOX compliance greatly preferred
  • Knowledge of government regulations affecting business operations
