Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced accounting and tax preparer/job manager who is motivated to learn and grow professionally within our Business Services Group. These clients include business entities and the individual owners. The size of the businesses range from annual revenue of $100K to over $50M.

Essential functions:

• Partnership, corporate, and individual income tax return preparation and review

• Tax and financial planning and consulting

• Other tax return preparation and review as needed, including sales tax, business license, personal property and payroll tax returns

• Preparation and review of financial statements; primarily compilations and prepared financial statement engagements, with the opportunity to also be involved in audit, review and agreed-upon procedures engagements, if desired

• Supervise, train and mentor staff

• Manage projects, due dates and interact regularly with clients

• Work as part of a service team with the firm principals, job managers and staff

Minimum requirements:

• Over three years of relevant management experience

• 7+ years relevant public accounting experience

• Bachelors or master’s degree in accounting

• CPA license or EA designation

• Must be detail-oriented, thorough and organized

• Professional image and positive attitude

• Team player that wants their voice heard and is receptive to constructive feedback

• Excellent computer skills, including the ability to work in a paperless environment

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.

• Travel: Occasional non-local travel may be required no more than 5-10% of the year, depending on your client base.

• Lifting: Occasional lifting of boxes and/or paperwork up to 25 pounds.
