Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a dependable and qualified Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Richmond Behavioral Health Authority.

Job Summary:

The selected individual will provide empathetic trauma-informed support to clients in their recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders. They will work closely with providers and other members of the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient and work flow within the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and encourage activities for clients, including reading, crafts, etc.
  • Take client's vital signs and record in chart.
  • Observe and report changes in client's condition.
  • Accurately prepare daily records and submit them to the office by date due.
  • Participate in in-service education programs.
  • Participate in team meetings.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED with coursework in business administration, or related field and considerable experience providing support in a healthcare setting.
  • Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
  • Maintains current CNA certification and registration with the State of Virginia.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Virginia Driver's License.
  • Basic computer and EHR experience preferred.
