AUO Display Plus America is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing US team. The successful candidate will need experience in financial and accounting transactions and a desire to grow within this role. This position will work out of our Burlington, MA office and is an individual contributor role.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
  • Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
  • Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Confer with company officials about financial and regulatory matters.
  • Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
  • Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
  • Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements, with our external tax advisors.
  • Develop, maintain, or analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports as needed.
  • Other office administration duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, accounting or finance preferred or equivalent.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Experience with using Oracle ERP and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, utilizing formulas, functions, and data manipulation.
  • Ability to maintain ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.
