QUALIFICATIONS

  • 21+ years old
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field such as accounting, finance, or business management
  • 3+ years of experience using automated payroll software and a computerized accounting system such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, with an emphasis on SmartList and Management Reporter
  • 3+ years of experience with behavioral health Medicaid, including billing and revenue reconciliation
  • Proficiency with computers and applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of insurance
  • Problem-solving skills, courteous attitude, and tactful communication skills

WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Revenue Management Staff Accountant, you flex your accounting prowess to help keep our finances in good shape. Your primary focus is on monitoring grants we receive from state, federal, and other funding agencies as well as ensuring compliance with agency regulations. When we obtain a grant or contract, you collect financial data and generate reports to prove our compliance. You collaborate with others as needed to create and present this information.

You're also in charge of our behavioral health and Managed Care Organization Medicaid, managing full cycle processing. From billing and submitting claims to reviewing contracts and supporting budget development, you have a major hand in our finances. Thinking strategically, you also come up with plans for improving and optimizing our accounting processes.
