avad3 Event Production is looking for a dynamic and personable Sales Representative to pursue leads and build client relationships.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The avad3 Sales Representative will serve customers by helping in the initial phases of their events. Proactively serving in sales gives customers an accessible point of contact to discuss and kickstart new projects while our on-site production managers and techs are busy in the field serving today’s projects.

The ideal qualified candidate has a technical knowledge and passion for event production. They’re comfortable and capable at closing sales opportunities and has experience staying organized in a customer-facing role. Ideal candidates come from either a strong technical production background and love being with people, or a strong sales background and a love for being in production.

This role proactively connects with previous year clients to discuss their needs, and helps them budget for upcoming projects months in advance by quoting based on client and team feedback. This is an existing role we are filling on our Sales and Marketing team, reporting to our Sales Director.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Building active knowledge about the event production industry

· Following up with prospective clients

· Contacting new and existing clients to discuss needs

· Answer questions about potential event options

· Negotiating pricing and terms and preparing sales agreements

· Collaborating with team members across functions

· Maintaining client relationships and following up regularly

Requirements

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Every member of this team is known for professionalism and passion for production.

· 2-3 years of experience in sales and/or customer service

· Excellent communication (listening, writing, and speaking)

· Production experience (relevant examples: live event, video, broadcast, hospitality, A/V)

· Skilled at interpersonal conflict resolution, assertively resolving problems proactively.

· Organizationally capable of keeping hundreds of project quotes moving for customers throughout the year.
