**What will you do?**:

- Protect and grow core markets by influencing and supporting sales representatives through collaborative sales planning, joint customer visits, and product training.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers in your territory
- Access high-growth adjacent markets by prospecting and cold-calling new customers in new markets.
- Actively build and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve annual operating plan
- Provide booking and revenue forecasts to ensure revenue attainment.
- Research competitors and industry activities to partner with cross-functional teams on product marketing activities.

**Education/Experience**:

- Bachelor's Degree required in Life Sciences or STEM related
- 5+ years proven sales experience, preferably in laboratory and/or water products

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:

- Strong prospecting, discovery, sales planning, and territory leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills to influence decisions across all levels of an organization.
- Strong technical competence in product demonstration, seminars, and product training
- Frequent same-day travels within Massachusetts and ~30%+ overnight travels are required within the assigned territory (New England, NY, NJ, Eastern PA and Delaware)
