Neeeco (the New England Energy Efficiency Company) is hiring part-time Field and Event Canvassers who are interested in being paid to make a positive impact in our community.

In this role you’ll be helping your neighbors across Eastern Massachusetts reduce their carbon emissions, reduce their energy costs, and make their homes healthier and more comfortable. You will be on the front lines of the fight against climate change while also helping reduce the cost of living in your community.

**Field & Event Canvasser responsibilities**:

- Generate leads for home energy audits and solar installations by going door to door and talking with homeowners and renters about how to save money on their energy bills while reducing their carbon footprint
- Attend community and commercial events to generate leads and inform the public about the energy efficiency programs, rebates and incentives available in Massachusetts
- Provide feedback about various activities to constantly improve the team’s time spent going door to door and at events
- Accurately enter details for leads from the day's activities on a company iPad or on your smartphone
- Must be able to attend bi-weekly / monthly meetings (possibly virtual)
- Follow the dress code and wear a uniform shirt (provided to you)

**Qualifications**:
You will be a good fit for this role if you:

- Have stellar verbal communications skills and infectious enthusiasm.
- Share our vision for a more affordable, cleaner, greener and energy efficient world.
- Have a driver's license (this is required) and daily access to a car.
- Have a previous background in sales, canvassing, tabling, or outreach marketing (this is a plus, but not required - we’ll train you to succeed in this role no matter your level of experience).
- Are passionate about the environment, fighting climate change, and helping people save money.
- Will pass a drug test and background screening (both required).

**Shift**:

- Part time
- 20 hours weekly minimum
- Typical shifts are Mon-Fri (flexible hours)
- Hours can be discussed upon interview
- Must be able to work ONE weekend day, Saturday or Sunday

**Salary**:_Daily base pay + very generous bonus structure_

$50 per converted lead

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per day
