Manager, Business Intelligence

Location: Brea, CA

Job Summary:

The Manager, Business Intelligence (Bi) is part of the Global Bi team. In this role, S/he leads a team of Bi professionals while actively participating in the day-to-day processes. The responsibilities will include overseeing the Bi process and ensuring the smooth execution of Bi requests from all over the world. As a Process-Engaged Manager, you’ll balance leadership with hands-on work, contributing directly to the team’s success. The Bi process relates to transforming data into actionable companywide insights and value. S/he is responsible for driving innovative ways to gather and distribute valuable and actionable information which will help all departments of Proponent, to continuously innovate and improve. S/he leads a high performing team of Bi professionals via servant leadership principles, making time to mentor and develop, inspire, and empower them to achieve exceptional results aligned with organizational strategy.

Requirements for Success:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent,
  • Good job-related knowledge:
    • 7-10 Years of Related Work Experience in Business Intelligence,
    • Advanced skills in SQL, Excel & Power BI
    • Solid knowledge of statistical Analysis
  • Management experience, including:
    • Strategic thinking capabilities
    • The ability to inspire, mobilize & develop others
  • Business, economic & financial insight and interest
