Job Description :

  • The CMTL provides overall management of CM functions as they pertain to the production and support activities. The team leader ensures all policies and procedures are adhered to, and monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements are satisfied.
  • As a Configuration Management Team Leader (CMTL), you will oversee and manage the configuration management processes within the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that all configuration items (CIs) are identified, controlled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle to support the organization's projects and operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a configuration management role, with demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of configuration management principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, SVN, Ansible) and version control systems.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex configuration management issues.
  • Certification: Optional but beneficial certifications include ITIL Foundation, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), or similar.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
