Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our finance team in the role of Accountant with additional responsibilities in administration and property management. Reporting directly to the Vice President - Corporate Controller, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing administrative tasks, and managing property-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting:
    • Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in accounting entries.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
    • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
    • Perform Monthly/Quarterly close of the accounting records.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative assistance to various departments within the organization, representing the Finance Team.
    • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
  • Property Management:
    • Oversee property-related matters, including lease agreements, maintenance, and vendor relationships.
    • Conduct periodic property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
    • Manage property-related budgets and financial transactions.
  • Reporting:
    • Generate and analyze various financial and operational reports for management review.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of accounting processes and procedures.
    • Provide regular updates to the Vice President - Corporate Controller on key financial and property-related metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Three to Four years’ experience working in an accounting position.
  • Proven experience in financial accounting, administration, and property management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online accounting software.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
