JOB DESCRIPTION


Content continues to change. Where once a simple blog would suffice now we have short- and long-form video, social media, and more. As a Content Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing content strategies across multiple platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Design, and Client Service, to ensure alignment with brand goals and audience needs. Additionally, you will take an active role in managing the execution of these strategies, ensuring high-quality content creation and distribution across various platforms.


The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of strategic thinking, creative ideation, and project management skills.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Strategic Development: Create and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with the company and client goals, ensuring consistency across various channels and platforms.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct content audits, competitor analysis, and market research to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for content optimization.
  • Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing team to define target audiences, personas, and user journeys to tailor content accordingly.
  • Content Oversight: Set and maintain editorial calendars, content guidelines, and best practices.
  • Creative Collaboration: Work with the creative, media, and marketing teams to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Content Management: Lead content production — managing contractors, overseeing the editorial calendar, and content production pipeline.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all content meets quality standards, aligns with brand guidelines, and supports brand goals.
  • SEO Implementation: Apply best practices to improve content visibility and search engine optimization.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and analyze content performance using key metrics and tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Staying Current: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in content strategy.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • 5 years of experience in content strategy and execution, demonstrating a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on content management.
  • Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), SEO, and analytics tools.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies across multiple channels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to drive content decisions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
