Job Purpose:

The OHCC Financial Outreach Coordinator will assist OHCC patients and their families to get Optimal Health Insurance at the most Affordable rates, specific to their situation. Learn more about each Patient and Family member’s health insurance coverage / situation and record the data with the appropriate future task to follow up on. Over time, develop trend analysis and more streamline and proactive ways to help more people in the community. Provide patients with a positive financial experience and serve as the point of contact for all financial assistance related questions. Communicate with patients to identify and understand financial, social, and other relevant patient information.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college or Associate's degree preferred.

Skill, Licensure and Knowledge Requirements:

Certification/Licensure: N/A

File Management and Organization, Excellent Verbal and Written Communication, Proficient Typing, Data Entry, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness, Experience with Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Handles many tasks simultaneously and communicates with staff in verbal and written form.
