Duties and responsibilities include:
- Oversees the Scrum and development teams.
- Create and onboard project teams and integrates them into the organization.
- Provide a clear vision of the product for the Scrum team.
- Leads and coaches team in Agile methodology and Scrum.
- Help the product owner maintain the product backlog.
- Remove impediments for the scrum team.
- Track velocity to help the team be more productive.
- Monitor project progress, provides real-time feedback, and drives agility culture.
- Lead daily stand-up meetings.
- Lead Scrum team in analysis of user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure user stories follow the INVEST criteria for user story quality and acceptance criteria are testable.
- Facilitate sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
- Remove barriers between the stakeholders and the Scrum team.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience managing Agile and Scrum projects.
- Certified Scrum Master.
- Prior USDA NASS experience.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
*This position is contingent upon future contract award to Gunnison.
