Director, Direct Demand

As the Director of Direct Demand at Sonobi, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the direct demand sales team to drive revenue growth and expand our client base. Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and achieve sales targets.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Growth Directors to effectively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of advertising campaigns.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and industry partners to identify new opportunities and drive client satisfaction.

  • Provide strategic guidance and insights based on market trends, competitor analysis, and client feedback to inform business decisions and optimize sales efforts.

  • Develop and implement sales processes, tools, and best practices to streamline operations and maximize team productivity.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear goals and expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and development to the direct demand sales team.


Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Proven track record of success in direct sales leadership roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the digital advertising or technology industry.

  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, ad tech ecosystem, and digital media landscape.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead effectively through change and ambiguity.

  • Experience working remotely and managing distributed teams is preferred.
