Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Demand Generation to join their growth marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase brand awareness with ideal customers, generate high-quality leads and drive growth for our company. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for digital marketing, data analysis and demand generation techniques.

As a forward-thinking leader, you'll build integrated, highly targeted campaigns that drive engagement and growth across prospects and existing customers. This role requires someone who has a proven track record of scaling inbound pipelines and expanding marketing influence across all channels. You have a deep understanding of the strategy behind buyer journeys and performance marketing while also bringing creative, innovative ways to optimize campaigns and automate processes. This candidate must possess the perfect mix of art and science in their abilities, instincts, and execution.

  • High Quality Pipeline Growth: scale inbound pipeline through effective lead-generation strategies, content marketing and other demand generation techniques for targeted, high-quality prospects.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution: design and implement integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate demand and qualified leads. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless lead handoff and alignment with sales goals.
  • Creativity and Insights for Continuous Improvement: Harness creativity and market insights to develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience and drive optimized business results.
  • Buyer Journey Management: Develop a deep understanding of our ideal target audience's buyer journey, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and ability to nurture qualified leads into sales.
  • Analytics and Performance Marketing: Leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns
  • Marketing Technology: evaluate, implement, and manage best in class marketing technology stack to support demand generation efforts. Leverage marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve campaign effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage a growth mindset to develop and execute innovative strategies to optimize marketing performance, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Manage, mentor and grow a team of digital marketers specializing in digital marketing, email marketing, SMS, organic, paid digital media and social media across skills development and campaign execution.
  • Identify target audience segments and create tailored marketing campaigns to engage with them effectively.
  • Manage and execute projects to drive profitable customer acquisition, traffic and conversions, surpassing targets.
  • Build and optimize buyer journeys across complex sales and execute full-funnel strategies to nurture ideal leads through to sales conversion.
  • Own CRO, continually improving ideal customer acquisition through landing page optimization, keyword research, link building, content refreshes and attaining overall SEO growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools and best practices to continuously improve demand generation strategies.
  • Collaborate with developers and agencies to manage our digital customer experience, ensuring an optimal user experience and timely updates.
  • Work to automate repeatable processes to consistently optimize and accelerate marketing campaign delivery and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) with demand generation and strategic marketing in a direct-to-consumer company with a strong digital presence. Experience must include analytics-based decision-making where success is measured in terms of customer growth, website conversion and superior content.
  • Strategic, forward-thinking leader with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital channels, including email marketing, SMS, content marketing, social media, SEO and SEM.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms. Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems and other marketing technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to lead, inspire and coach a team to bring out their best.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create compelling marketing campaigns and engage with ideal target audiences.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes through marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong team player, skilled at promoting collaboration and driving problem resolution across all levels of a business.
  • Preferred experience marketing DTC products in the luxury or wellness space.
