Job Description:
Family Support Services is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission by developing and implementing strategic marketing and communication initiatives to raise awareness, engage stakeholders, and drive support for our programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage brand kit, creating cohesion for Family Support Services and our programs.
- Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to promote Family Support Services' programs, events, and initiatives.
- Manage the organization's digital presence, including website content, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
- Create compelling content for various platforms, including newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and promotional materials.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and community partners to enhance visibility and coverage of Family Support Services.
- Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to messaging guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics and engagement data to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Support fundraising efforts by developing marketing collateral, donor communications, and sponsorship packages.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging and branding across all organizational activities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and communications.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor or executive team.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including website CMS, email marketing software, and social media management tools.
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Passion for social impact and a commitment to the mission and values of Family Support Services.
