We're hiring immediately for a Utility Construction Technician in Exton, PA. Are you passionate about stormwater utilities and water/wastewater management? If you have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in these areas, especially within industrial or commercial sites, we want to hear from you. We’re seeking a candidate who excels at interpreting plan sets, is proficient in operating heavy equipment, and has a solid understanding of OSHA safety regulations. The pay for this position is $21.00 - $26.00 an hour depending on experience and qualifications. Travel perks including lodging expenses, a company vehicle, and $59 per diem.

What you'll do:

  • Repair and construct vital stormwater infrastructure, underground utilities, concrete structures and stormwater basins across the central states.
  • Operate hand-held tools, power tools and heavy construction equipment, including skid loaders, excavators, and dozers.

What we're looking for:
  • Education: GED, High School Diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of construction experience.
  • Travel: Ability to travel Monday through Friday, with travel required 85% of the time.
  • Driving: Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Skills: Proficient in the operation of construction equipment, power tools, and concrete hand tools.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of plans and specs. Knowledge of stormwater & sediment and erosion control.
  • Expertise: Prior experience with repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping and detention/retention basins is a plus.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of OSHA safety practices and comfortable using pickups and equipment trailers while following DOT requirements.
