Role Summary

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Leadman to join our workforce. The Leadman will be instrumental in assisting the Foreman by supervising daily crew operations, managing tools and equipment, and ensuring efficient project execution. This role also involves responsibilities related to the Crew Truck and may require picking up supplies as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Foreman in overseeing and directing the construction crew.
  • Manage the upkeep and organization of the Crew Truck and associated tools.
  • Ensure all equipment is operational and readily available for tasks.
  • Coordinate daily work plans to facilitate project advancement.
  • Conduct regular site evaluations to ensure quality of work and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Foreman, crew members, and other relevant parties.
  • Retrieve parts or tools from supply locations as required.
  • Keep accurate records of equipment utilization and project milestones.
  • Encourage a culture of safety and collaboration among team members.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience as a Leadman or in a comparable position within the underground utility construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Capacity to work in various weather conditions and physical settings.
