RER Solutions, Inc., is accepting resumes for a Financial Modeler to join our superior workforce in Washington, DC. The Financial Modeler will provide onsite and remote federal program leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCF), debt service coverage ratios (DSCR), conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses for large infrastructure transactions, with a project and corporate finance structure
- Analyze financial statements and perform in-depth financial analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and assumptions for model inputs
- Conduct industry and company research to support project/transaction and recommendations.
- Participate in client/team meetings and discussions, providing analytical insights and advice
- Maintain and update models based on project activity and projections
- Support an extensive complex portfolio of projects post loan closure
- Ensure the models’ accuracy while enhancing the existing models’ quality
- Recommend and implement process improvement measure
- Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust
- Five (5) years of experience in a financial analytics or operational analytics environment.
- Experience with assessing financial strategy, conducting impact analysis, and creating dynamic models to support what-if scenarios
- Experience in building complex data models fed from multiple data sources
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and an understanding of fundamental business writing
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
