Job Description

The Email Marketing Manager will support the company-wide database marketing efforts, in strategy and execution. The incumbent will manage the day-to-day operations of a variety of email campaigns, e-newsletters, opt-in strategies, and other areas of our expanding email marketing plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build, edit and update email templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Create the strategic vision of journeys or ad hoc campaigns, including lead generation, revenue-generating campaigns, informational sends, etc.
  • QA (review) and deploy email campaigns or journeys using SFMC
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, designers, copywriters, and project managers to see the project through the process, deployment and analysis
  • Provide reporting on email campaigns, including email stats, web analytics, and direct revenue, where applicable
  • Continuously build upon previous success to learn and drive additional revenue (including A/B testing, personalization, etc.)
  • Collaborate with other departments (Revenue Management, E-Commerce, on-property staff, Social Media, etc.) to close the communication loop and ensure a consistent, cohesive message is delivered to our guests
  • Maintain the email send calendar and meet deadlines for target launch dates 
Qualifications

Experience:

  • 2 + years of experience in email marketing
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and GDPR email regulations
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Advertising Studio, and SQL
  • Experience in the Hospitality/Tourism industry
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to problem solve and pay meticulous attention to detail

Education :

  • BA degree in Marketing or equivalent discipline and/or a combination of education, training, and experience
