We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack Developer) with expertise in Angular/TypeScript to join our software engineering team. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to provide production support while primarily focusing on development tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, Develop, and Maintain: Work on complex web applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
  • Production Support: Act as a key point of contact for production support and troubleshooting, especially when other team members are unavailable.
  • Requirements Analysis and Peer Reviews: Engage in requirements analysis, design reviews, and peer code reviews to maintain code quality.
  • Documentation: Provide comprehensive documentation for implementation, deployment, and QA teams.
  • Software Engineering Processes: Apply sound software engineering processes, including iterative development, unit testing, source code control, inspections, and reviews.
  • Learning and Adaptation: Continuously learn about our business model, existing enterprise applications, and stay abreast of software development language revisions and technological advances.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years with C#.NET framework
    • 7+ years with ASP.NET CORE and ASP.NET MVC
    • 7+ years with Microsoft SQL Server
    • 5+ years with Angular 2+ (preferably versions 12+)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with GIT source control
    • Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Additional Details from the Call:
  • Location Preference: Strong presence required in the United States or Canada to provide immediate production support and to be a go-to person for production issues.
  • Team Composition: The team currently consists of three developers (one in Argentina, one in Uruguay, and one in the United States). This new role will be the fourth team member.
  • Role Balance: While the primary responsibility is development, the candidate must also handle production support when needed. This dual role requires a senior-level developer with a mature understanding of both backend and frontend technologies.
  • Communication and Learning: The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and the ability to quickly learn and understand the company's systems to provide effective support and development.

  • Support Capability: Ready to provide support to production users, troubleshoot issues, and suggest next steps.
