The Position:

 

We are currently hiring an Administrative and Accounting Generalist for our Cedar Falls location.

 

In this role, candidates must be able to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and employees while maintaining a positive image of one’s self and the Company.  Candidates must work closely with administrative and accounting staff and adapt to changing work environments.  They must be able to maximize efforts toward productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.  Candidates must also be able to understand and apply information and data from various resources to meet appropriate objectives.

 

The Administrative and Accounting Generalist role will include, but is not limited to:

 

  • Assisting with Accounts Receivables responsibilities including billings and sales tickets
  • A/R Statements and collection calls
  • Stored material invoices
  • Daily job reports
  • Providing support to Payroll and administrative functions as needed

Schedule:

 

  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:00am to 3:30pm, with ability to flex hours as needed

 

Requirements:

 

  • A minimum of two years of experience in accounting or HR-related roles, demonstrating a solid understanding of the responsibilities and tasks involved.
  • No Certifications or Degrees Required: While certifications or degrees in accounting or HR-related fields are not mandatory, relevant experience and demonstrated competence are essential.
  • Must possess a meticulous approach to work, with the ability to identify and correct errors and discrepancies promptly.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Exhibit a proactive and self-motivated attitude towards work, consistently seeking opportunities to contribute and improve processes.
  • Maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

 

Salary is based on qualifications: knowledge and previous experience. $20.00-$26.00/hour
