St. Joseph Hospice in Alexandria, LA is growing and has the following full time position available immediately for a Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator

St. Joseph Hospice is part of a network of healthcare providers employing over 2,400 healthcare professionals throughout Southeast Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

Description:

  • Plans, organized, and coordinates the volunteer program
  • Recruits and interviews potential volunteer candidates
  • Works with the community organizations to promote St. Joseph Hospice
  • Clerical duties as maintaining organized volunteer records
  • Provides a comprehensive orientation and training program

Requirements:

  • Two years’ experience working with volunteers
  • Ability to work well with people, communicate efficiently
  • Time management skills
  • Must have a current Louisiana driver’s license, auto insurance and current CPR
  • Hospice or healthcare setting experience preferred
